1st Grade

The abilities and imaginations of the first graders continue to grow and improve.  We are busy at work using our Microsoft Word skills to help us identify and count money.

2nd Grade

Second graders have been headed down the information highway!  We are learning how to use the Internet and navigate websites.  We've also typed in web addresses and used "links" to get from page to page.  We are currently using our Microsoft Word skills to help us with telling time and learning about elapsed time.

3rd Grade

Third graders are always learning about using the Internet safely for research.  Our most recent research project was finding out more on animals that can be found in North America.  We are also playing various activities on www.iknowthat.com that help us reinforce our skills.  The third graders especially seem to enjoy the puzzle that allows them to label maps.

 

 

4th Grade 

Both fourth grade classes put their thinking and creativity caps on and sure did get to work!  Our most recent project was to create environmental t-shirts in Microsoft Word using an outlined t-shirt template.  Students were able to brainstorm and put their ideas together in order to create a mini t-shirt design.  These will be coming home within the next couple of weeks. 

Additionally, students continue to play online activities that allow them to practice key concepts that are presented in their classroom, including math and language arts concepts.
