What's New?

 We just began our final unit on Power Point.  Students are very excited about this topic, however, I am stressing the importance of using Power Point as a TOOL rather than the actual presentation.  Power Points are intended to enhance a presentation, not stand alone as the presentation.  We have covered adding sound files, animating our slides, and we are just recently working on hyperlinks! 

The semester will be over in the blink of an eye!  Here's what the next few weeks will look like:

  • Week of 5/5-5/9:  Complete and present Power Point titled "All About Me"
  • Week of 5/12-5/16:  Fast Food Project (Final Steps, including presentation)
  • Week of 5/19-5/23:  Quiz on Power Point
  • Week of 5/26-5/30:  Test on Word, Excel and Power Point
